Ned joined Freestone in August 2013 following three years working with high net worth families at Certis Capital Management, a multi-family office. Prior to Certis, Ned was a co-founder and Managing Director at Lynwood Capital Partners, a middle market private equity investment firm. Ned began his career in the credit training program at Manufacturers Hanover Trust and then as an analyst with the Merchant Banking Group at Lehman Brothers in New York City.
Education
Ned holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA. He also holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation.
Outside Freestone
Outside of work, Ned recently completed several years as Treasurer of Storyteller Children's Center, a tuition-free preschool for at-risk children in Santa Barbara. He was a Katherine Harvey Fellow and a member of the Investment Committee at the Santa Barbara Foundation. In his spare time, Ned enjoys windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding, skiing, and mountain biking.
