Bruce joined Freestone Capital Management as a Client Advisor in 2020. Bruce has extensive knowledge managing multigenerational wealth through the combination of comprehensive financial planning and customized investment portfolios. Prior to joining Freestone, Bruce was a wealth advisor at Parallel Advisors, LLC, serving the needs of high net worth individuals and families in the bay area. Bruce began his career at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in 1996. He worked as an associate at Montgomery Securities before becoming a Private Wealth Manager at Thomas Weisel Partners (now Stifel Financial) in 1999 assisting his clients with their investment, tax, trust & estate and insurance needs. Following Stifel Financial, Bruce joined Jefferies & Company where he continued assisting high-net worth individuals and families.
Education
Bruce earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon.
Outside Freestone
When not working, Bruce can be found fly-fishing, surfing and playing music with family and friends. Bruce served on the board of directors of the Henry Fork Foundation and is currently the Board Chair of Play Marin, an organization dedicated to providing opportunities for children of diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds in Southern Marin to learn and grow together through sports and other activities.
