Chris entered the wealth management industry over twenty-five years ago and has focused on working with the wealthy clients of a select group of West Coast tax, legal, and estate advisory firms. Throughout those years he has advised affluent families and individuals on a broad range of topics relating to how best steward their wealth. Prior to joining Freestone, Chris began his career at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 1994, where he helped develop and expand the Professionals Alliance Group (PAG), a unique and focused endeavor working with a recognizable list of CPA and advisory firms based in the Pacific Northwest.
Education
Chris attended the University of Southern California and Seattle Pacific University. In 1998, he was awarded the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation by the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Outside Freestone
Chris was born and raised in Seattle and currently resides in Kirkland, Washington. When not at the office, you will likely find him enjoying golf, boating, and snow skiing with his son….or coaching youth sports anywhere he feels he can have a positive impact on children’s lives.
