Jonathan spent 5 years in various accounting roles post-college before transitioning into the financial services industry. He was one of the first members of a Wealth Management team who were among the earliest adopters of the “Personal CFO” business model. Jonathan spent the next 15+ years evolving that model while working directly with a High and Ultra High Net Worth client base, and then ultimately running the firm’s financial planning platform. This experience has strongly influenced how Jonathan manages his practice today as he continues to partner with his clients on every aspect of their financial lives. He uses a “no stone unturned” approach, advising on all issues related to retirement, estate planning, taxes, investment management, and the many other financial issues clients are left to grapple with. Jonathan focuses on how all these issues impact and relate to one another, and he strives to give clients peace of mind and the freedom to spend their time doing whatever it is they truly love rather than worrying about their personal finances.
Education
Jonathan graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/CPA Track. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Outside Freestone
An East Coast native, Jonathan moved to San Francisco in 2006 and has never looked back. He loves nothing more than spending time with his wife and two children. When they are not running between swim meets, soccer games, and other school activities, they love to be outdoors camping, hiking, or enjoying some beach time. Jonathan is a lifelong tennis fan and enjoys travel, watching live music, reading, and cooking.
